Love never dies

I trust you’ve just had a lovely Valentine’s week and used the opportunity to spread the love…

I love love – as mentioned in Should We Post Our Valentines? – so this past week was such a treat for me ❤️‍🔥

Though, the two weeks before that weren’t the greatest. On 28 January 2023 we lost an entirely beautiful soul. Malusi ‘G’ Gwala was a son, brother, father and friend. He was also one of the models for our A/W Denim Edition collection, which he did a stellar job at 🙌🏾

Malusi’s passing highlighted the truth of a quote I’ve just learned and I think you’ll agree with it too:

“Grief is the price we pay for love.” – Queen Elizabeth II

It was only a week after Malusi’s funeral that we heard of SA’s celebrated musician AKA’s passing, also due to gun violence in our beautiful city 💔

I’d like to take this time to send love to the resting souls of our loved ones, our deepest condolences to their family, friends and prayers for the healing of our land 🙏🏾
