While doing some much-needed cleaning in our fashion studio, I stumbled upon my long-lost CAD portfolio from my undergrad days. OMG, I can’t believe it’s been nine years since then—but I digress…
Among the treasures in my portfolio was a vision board we created in our third year, capturing how we envisioned our lives after graduation. Seeing my vision board for the first time since creating it felt like replaying a prayer I made long ago and listening just as it’s being answered! I no longer have a digital copy, but I took a picture of it and included it below.
Tears filled my eyes as I reviewed every point and realised I still aspire to achieve all these dreams. Gratitude overwhelmed me when I noticed that many of them are materialising and I am truly living the life of my dreams!
Sure, there are a few tweaks I’d like to make here and there, but overall, I still want to achieve these goals! It’s interesting that I didn’t explicitly mention running a successful fashion brand—perhaps I thought it was obvious as I was about to finish my fashion diploma!
Either way, I’m thrilled to have rediscovered this vision board. It has inspired me to create an updated version for the me of today. Do you believe in the power of vision boards too?
