Can you believe it’s been ten years since UP_PHELELE was established?
Honestly, I can’t either! On one hand, it feels like just yesterday I was sitting with my father, getting his guidance through the business registration process. On the other hand, this dream feels like it’s been with me since childhood, so in a way, it feels like it’s been forever.
But the records don’t lie: on 19 August 2015, UP_PHELELE (Pty) Ltd was officially born ♥︎
Fast-forward to 2025, and looking back on this journey as an entrepreneur… not everything that’s happened makes perfect sense (yet!), but I’m truly grateful for every step that led me to where I am today. People often ask me the dreaded, “So, how’s business going?” question, and I finally have my answer: “It’s going ten years strong!” 💪🏾
And that’s not all we’re celebrating this August… My passion project, The Book of Aphsie, is also turning three years old on 9 August – Women’s Day! Talk about divine timing✨
To mark our tin anniversary, we’re proud to launch the very first UP_PHELELE T-shirt Collection. We celebrated this exciting milestone with a vibrant photoshoot and party on Saturday, 26 July 2025 🥳
